Join the movement to Unplug for a Day!  Unplug_logo_011812_outlines.jpg

2020 marks the 11th year of Reboot's "Unplug for a Day" initiative which has seen tremendous growth in the last several years.  We love this initiative because getting off our devices supports the core Well & Ready principles (aka "Practices That  Pay Off):  Connection, Reflection, Restoration, and Exploration.

When?:  March 6 - 7* for 24 hours

*But you can host an Unplugged event any time you want!  Click below to learn more)?

What?:  "A 24 Hour Global respite from technology.  it highlights the value of disconnecting from digital devices to connect with ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities in real time."

Get in on the fun!

  • Take the Pledge here
  • Host an unplugged event in your community or school (anytime this year) - and get free goodies to help! Like this adorable cell phone sleeping bag! (Yes, I want one too!)
  • Unplug with Youth
  • Track your Unplugged time through the Lillspace App and donate socks to homeless veterans (an easy free way to give - and who doesn't want to do that?!)
  • Download the Poster, take a picture of yourself, and share it with the Well & Ready community!  Just like Arrianna Huffington....Isn't she amazing?

Do you have multiple cell phones? Take your iPad to the beach on vacation? Ever find it hard to sit still for a bit without checking Insta?

If you recognize that in yourself – or your friends, families or colleagues— join us for the National Day of Unplugging, sign the Unplug pledge and start living a different life: connect with the people in your street, neighborhood and city, have an uninterrupted meal or read a book to your child.

The project is an outgrowth of The Sabbath Manifesto, an adaption of our ancestors’ ritual of carving out one day per week to unwind, unplug, relax, reflect, get outdoors, and connect with loved ones.
